Please read on to learn a bit about me, my experience in the giftware and retail industry and the huge 90s craze with which I was heavily involved!

I’ve worked within the gift industry since 1988 and in this time, I’ve gained very broad experience of both sides of the counter; having been a retailer, wholesale distributor and freelance sales agent.

Through all these different roles, I’ve gained a unique perspective of all sides of the industry and, significantly, a greater understanding of my customers’ particular needs and requirements in addition to those of the companies I represent.

Remember the huge ‘Beanie Babies’ craze in the 90s? Well, I was heavily involved in building the UK market for them! That really established me as an agent within the gift industry for the decades that followed. Just don’t ask me if I can still remember all their names!

These days, to support British business, I deliberately represent UK artists, designers, manufacturers and distributors, with quality, well-presented, broad-appeal and affordable giftware products.

My carefully crafted product portfolio enables me to offer a wide range of complimentary and desirable ranges to quality independent retailers, department stores, visitor centres, tourist attractions, garden centres & farm shops across Northern England.

When I’m not supplying giftware, you can catch me anywhere in the world, online, and on the radio every weekend on ‘Tempo FM’ in Wetherby where I present a lively weekly music & entertainment show.

I’m also married with two adult children, a grandson and a dog - who all keep me busy and feeling young!

  • I cover the North-East and North-West of England for most of my ranges.

    The two exceptions are ‘The Little Dog Laughed’ and ‘Herdy’ for whom I currently only cover Yorkshire and the North-East.

    I know how important face to face meetings are and for you to see physical samples of the products you are considering stocking. I am always happy to travel to visit you, find out what you need and make suggestions as to how to maximise your retail sales of my ranges.

  • I never like to use the word ‘exclusivity’ but will always attempt to ensure that my customers’ best interests are protected.

    We will never compromise a stockist by supplying a brand to a competing retailer in close proximity. Each situation is looked at on a case-by-case basis.
